M.Ed. in Leadership in Schools, Reading, or Technology
To be eligible for these programs, applicants must have
- A valid teaching certificate (*or pass the Praxis
exam for administrators)
- A minimum of a 3.0 grade point average
- A minimum of one year teaching experience or direct
services to students
- Three references on USF recommendation forms that
address the applicant's potential as a master's degree candidate

M.Ed. in Teaching (Initial Certification)
To be eligible for this program, applicants must have
- Baccalaureate degree in an academic major that is taught at the secondary
level or in a related area
- Minimum 2.6 GPA or appropriate disposition and demonstrated knowledge and
skill in a related field for provisional entrance; 3.0 GPA for unconditional
entrance
- Three completed recommendation forms that address the applicant’s
potential disposition as an educator
- Completion of the Praxis II exam in the applicant's undergraduate major
content area, taken within the first nine semester hours of graduate coursework
- Internet and email access

To be eligible for this program, applicants must have
- A minimum of a 3.0 grade point average for full admission; 2.6 for provisional admission
- Three references on USF recommendation forms that address the applicant’s potential as a master’s degree candidate
