USF will issue the I-20 form necessary for entrance into the United States after an Affidavit of Support document has been submitted by the student and approved by our institution. The Affidavit of Support document confirms that the student has the financial means to support their attendance at USF for the upcoming academic year. Students must provide income tax or bank statement documents to verify the entire amount is available. Also, please note that this document must be submitted only the student's first year at USF.
An International Student Scholarship worth $7,000 (US) is available for all students who meet the above criteria for receiving a student VISA. Students must also live on campus to be eligible. You may be eligible to earn an additional participation scholarship (athletic/music/theatre) based on merit or ability by working directly with each of those programs. Scholarship amounts are determined by each of those areas. The student is responsible for the amount not covered by institutional aid and must prove the amount is available via the Affidavit of Support.
