FAQ
When is the Student Accounts Office Open?

Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

How can I pay my bill?

The Student Accounts Office accepts cash, check, and Visa, Mastercard, & Discover Credit Cards.

How do I know how much I owe on my Student Account?

The Student Accounts representative can look up the amount owed on your student account in the Student Accounts Office or you can log onto your My.USF account and check your balance.

When is my bill due?

Payment is due on the first day of the semester/term and is expected prior to attending any classes. It is important to make sure that financial aid arrangements have been made, payment plans set up, or payments to student accounts completed within the first 30 days of a semester starting. Late fees and interest charges begin to accrue 30 days after the semester starts for unpaid balances and registration holds will be put in place for the next semester.

What if my parent or guardian wants to contact USF about my bill?

Federal regulations require that all students who wish to have their financial information released to a parent or guardian sign a FERPA form every academic year. The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act protects a student's financial information from being given to another party without their written consent. FERPA forms can be obtained from the Financial Aid office and are good for one academic year.

I received a parking ticket, where do I pay for it?

Parking tickets can be paid in the student accounts office. Try to bring your ticket with you when paying your fine.

I am expecting and overage check. When are they available?

If you are expecting an overage check due to your federal loans posting to your account at the beginning of the semester, then your overage check will not be ready until at least 2 weeks after that posting date. Federal loans do not post until after the Add/Drop date, so your overage check will not arrive until at least 1 month after the semester begins. Plan accordingly. You will be notified via email when your overage check is ready to be picked up in the Business Office. After the first initial overage check run, overage checks are run weekly.

Can I pay my bill online?

Yes. You can now log on to your My.USF account and access your semester charges. Visa, MasterCard, & Discover are accepted as forms of online payment.
