Housing & Meals

The purpose of this site is to adequately inform students of the options, and associated costs, available for meals and housing on the University of Sioux Falls campus. USF strives to provide a student with reasonable options to meet their meals/housing needs. The Student Development Office administers all meals/housing issues on the USF campus and serves as the data entry point for charges that appear on a student bill.

FLEX Meals can be purchased by any student. Flex Meals, to be spent at the cafeteria and Java City, provide an opportunity for off-campus students to get a hot meal on campus. They can also supplement meal plan arrangements for on-campus students. Flex Meals can be added to a student bill during Validation or purchased directly from Aramark Food Services in the cafeteria, with purchases made in $100 increments, ranging from $100 to $1,000.

As a general rule, all underclassmen (freshman and sophomores) not living at home are required to live on campus and select a meal plan. Four semesters of on-campus living will normally satisfy this requirement, but the USF Student Development Office should be consulted for further details.
