Other Charges

Below is a list of possible additional charges that might be charged to an account. This list is not all inclusive.  

Late Fee
USF issues a $50 late fee on any student account that has a remaining balance on their account after September 28th and February 28th. This will also be charged if a FACTS Payment Plan is set up for an amount that will not cover the entire semester's balance.

***The deadline for 2013-2014 is Monday, September 30th and Friday, February 28th. ***


Interest
A 1% interest charge is charged on any unpaid balance in conjuction to the $50 late fee, and will continue to be charged every 30 days until the balance is $0.

Parking Tickets
Parking tickets are issued by Campus Safety and are charged to the students' account. Payments can be made in the Business Office in Jorden Hall room 204. Please bring your parking tickets with you when you pay. Please contact Campus Safety if you have any questions regarding your ticket, or would like to dispute it. Dorm Fines/Charges
Dorm fines are issued by Student Development and are charged to the student's account. Payments can be made in the Business Office in Jorden Hall room 204. Please contact the Student Development's Office if you have any questions regarding your fine. They can be reached at 605-331-6620.

ID/Room Key Replacement Charges
Each time a student loses an ID card or room key, replacement charges are placed on the student's account by Student Development.
