| USF INTRODUCES NEW MUSIC MINISTRY MAJOR
This fall, the University of Sioux Falls introduces a new Music Ministry major, combining coursework in the areas of Music, Theology, and Media Studies to equip students for all of the challenges and rewards of using music to minister to their communities, whether within or outside of a formal congregational setting. This major demonstrates all that is best about USF -- interdisciplinary focus, excellence in training, and an emphasis on community service!
Graduates of this program will possess the necessary musical abilities and knowledge of the Word of God to work as ministers of worship and music in local churches, and with supplementary training will be equipped to serve in the pastorate, Christian education, missionary service, campus ministry, media and arts ministry, or institutional chaplaincy.
