Psychology majors as well as students in other social science
majors at the University of Sioux Falls conduct research in an area that
interests them. These projects typically are created, designed, conducted,
and presented by the students. Students also collaborate with faculty on
on-going research. Research is an excellent manner in which to learn about
a subject matter, how to systematically solve problems and manage large
projects, to explain and present theoretical and technical information, and
better understand the underlying structure of the science of behavior.
Student
projects are substantial undertakings that provide great rewards to the
students and others interested in their topics. A sample of their recent
individual work and collaborations with psychology faculty is below.
