Resize:
    From the menu:    Image – Resize/Resample

    Save as:    save in new folder

    Save as jpg or gif – usually

Crop:
    Hold down the left mouse button and drag selection

    From the menu:    Edit – Crop Selection
    Save as above

Batch conversion/renaming:
    From the menu:  File  -  Batch Conversion/Renaming

    For Rename ----  it will name them bikepath001, bikepath002, etc…

    For Resize (conversion) choose to crop or resize (by pixels or percent).
    Always preserve aspect ratio.  Choose miscellaneous options you want.

Batch scanning:
    From the menu:  File  -  Batch Scanning

    Will scan in multiple pictures as bikepic001, bikepic002, etc...
