COMPUTER

| (The PC
box is located on east
wall inside the black "full access" door.) |

Check and
see that the PC is turned on. (blue light on) The computer may be in stand by
mode. To take it out of stand by - move the mouse around or hit the
space bar or reset the computer.
|
|
|
The keyboard
and mouse are located in the top pullout drawer. The mouse is the
grey circular button on the upper right side of the keyboard.
|
|
 |
| If the keyboard and or
mouse do not work on the computer then unplug the keyboard or mouse USB
connection on the back of the computer and then restart the machine. If the
closet is locked contact maintenance to gain entrance. |

|
|
|
SOUND
AND MICROPHONE |
| To turn the podium
microphone on, press the little grey button on the bottom of the microphone.
(the little green light should turn on.) |

|
| To turn the mic.
volume up or down, press the "mic+" or "mic-"
button on the crestron unit on the upper left side. |
 |
|
|
|
|
VIDEO PROJECTOR / SCREEN
|
|
To
get the video projector to work with the computer, first touch anywhere
on the crestron box screen.
|
 |
|
1. Next touch "rack
computer"
2. Now,
touch "present"
(this should lower the screen and lower the projector).
|
 |
|
If the screen does
not lower, press the "screen" button and then the "down"
button.
|
 |
| To blank
the projector screen press the black "pic m" (picture mute button), located on the left side
of the crestron unit. |
 |
|
IF PROJECTOR DOESN'T LOWER or
IF YOU HAVE NO PICTURE --
press the black "off" button,
then touch, "Yes, shut down system".
WAIT at least 2-3 minutes!

|
Touch anywhere on the crestron box screen.
1. Next touch "rack
computer"
2. Now,
touch "present"
(this should lower the screen and lower the projector).
If the screen does
not lower, press the "screen" button and then the "down"
button.

|
WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED --
To
turn the projector off, press the black "off" button,
then touch, "Yes, shut down system".

|
| |
|
|
VOLUME CONTROL |
| To adjust
volume, press the black "prog+" or "prog-" buttons on right
hand side of the crestron unit. |

| |
|
|
WIRELESS MICROPHONES
|
|
To use the lapel
mic., switch the button on the right side of the power unit from "off"
to "power". (make sure the mute button is NOT switched
to the "on" button)
|
 |
|
|
(Check for batteries on the bottom of the lapel.)
|
 |
|
|
To use shure wireless
hand-held mic., then follow the same procedure as the lapel.
|
 |
|
| |
|
|
|
VCR/DVD
|
|
Press power on the
DVD or VCR player located in the black "Full Access Door"
(located on the east wall).
|
|
| For the dvd player, press eject to open and insert dvd. |
|
|
Press the VCR
or DVD button on the Crestron unit then the Present button.
|
 |
|
Make sure you press vcr
and then present, in that order to make the video show up on the
screen. |
|
If there is no sound,
make sure the mute is not on.
|
 |
|
WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED --
To
turn the projector off, press the black "off" button,
then touch, "Yes, shut down system".

|
LAPTOP CONNECTION
|
| To connect laptop, pull
out the cords from the podium "innovations laptop connection"
box. |
 |
| Insert the laptop cord into
the blue outlet. |
 |
| 1. Next touch "laptop"
2. Now, touch "present"

If
the podium is located by the black "full access" door, plug
into the silver outlet on the bottom left.
