How do I....
Change my address, advisor, or major
Change of major/advisor forms are available in the Registrar's Office. It is also possible to request a change of your address/advisor/major via the PAW on the biographical page and clicking on "Email changes to the Registrar's Office" and providing the new information in the e-mail. We will attempt to pair you with the requested adivsor if at all possible.
Register for Classes
Current Students
If you are a current student, you are required to meet with your academic advisor prior to your assigned registration time. Please refer to your PAW account for assigned registration times.
New Students
All new students are required to attend a new student registration day for the term they wish to attend. Please go to New Student Registration to view details.

Withdraw from a Class
Courses are not dropped by discontinuing attendance. The first step in dropping a course is to obtain necessary forms and instructions from the Registrar's Office. A drop is not considered official until it has been processed through the Registrar's Office. Students who discontinue a course without following official procedures receive a grade of "F". Courses dropped during the first two weeks of a semester will not appear on the transcript. Courses may be added after the first two weeks only with the permission of the instructor. Students may withdraw from a course until the second Friday after midterm. No drops will be permitted after this date.
Withdraw from USF
If you wish to withdraw from USF, (drop all classes), please contact the Academic Advising and Retention Office at 605-331-6743 or in the lower level of Jorden Hall. All students will be required to fill out a withdrawal form. For withdraw deadlines, see the
