Mission Statement |
| The University of Sioux Falls, a Christian University in the liberal arts tradition, educates students in the humanities, sciences, and professions. The traditional motto of the university is Culture for Service, that is, we seek to foster academic excellence and the development of mature Christian persons for service to God and humankind in the world. |

| The University of Sioux Falls does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability or age. Applications should include a $25 application fee and academic credentials, including official high school transcripts, class rank and cumulative grade point average or certificate of GED scores; ACT or SAT results; and official transcript of credits from any post-high school institution attended. |

| Almost 1700 students attend USF from 24 states and 5 foreign countries. More than 90% come from the Midwest and 21% are Baptist, 18% are Lutheran, 13% are Catholic, 9% are Reformed, 5% are Methodist, 2% are Presbyterian, and a variety of denominations comprise the remaining 34%. |

| The University is located in the center of Sioux Falls, South Dakota (population 150,000), the state's largest city. Sioux Falls is positioned at the junction of Interstates 29 and 90, about 400 miles from Mount Rushmore to the west, 250 miles from Minneapolis to the east, 150 miles from Omaha to the south and 250 miles from Fargo to the north. |

| USF is a member of the Great Plains Athletic Conference and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Division II. A total of 19 varsity sports, makes it easy to find one you love! Women play soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball, tennis, indoor track, outdoor track, golf, and cross country. Men can choose from wrestling, soccer, baseball, basketball, cross country, tennis, indoor track, outdoor track, golf, and football. |

| University of Sioux Falls graduates have enjoyed great success in finding jobs in their major fields of study following graduation: * 60% enter business, industry or government, * 21% enter education and teaching, * 13% go on to graduate school, * 7% are employed in church and social service occupations. The Career Services Office provides a full-service program to both students and alumni of USF. |
