Monthly Tuition Payments


The University of Sioux Falls is pleased to offer the FACTS monthly payment plan to enable you to more easily afford your educational expenses.  FACTS is a tuition management plan that provides you with a low cost plan for budgeting tuition and other education expenses.  It is not a loan program; therefore, you have no debt, there are no interest or finance charges assessed, and there is no credit check.  The only fee is a non-refundable enrollment fee of $25.00 per semester or $45.00 per year.  FACTS is among the least expensive ways for you to budget payments.

How to Enroll with FACTS

Using FACTS is simple; sign up online at www.factsmgt.com.  This authorizes our bank to collect scheduled payments for college expenses from your bank or credit card provider.  The University of Sioux Falls will provide you with the tuition amount and other fees that may be budgeted.  Any financial aid awards (if applicable) are verified by the Student Accounts office and are reflected in the payment amount.


Payment Schedule


You may budget on an annual basis for up to 10 months.  In order to budget for the full 10 months, applications must be received by the University of Sioux Falls on or before July 16th. All tuition payments will be processed on the 20th of the month.  Credit cards may be used for the credit card option.  Credit cards accepted are:  Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.  Please notify the University of Sioux Falls Student Accounts Office directly of any changes to the original agreement.  You may contact the Student Accounts Office by E-Mail at Studentaccounts@usiouxfalls.edu or by phone at (605)331-6640 or 1-800-888-1047.

e-Cashier Availability Availability of e-Cashier is determined by University of SiouxFalls. Please be aware the university may elect not to have e-Cashier available during specific times and dates during registration.  Please do not assume your balance will automatically be adjusted if financial aid is received or a class is dropped or added. You should review your agreement balance online through My FACTS Account or call the University of Sioux Falls Student Accounts Office at 605.331.6640 or e-mail studentaccounts@usiouxfalls.edu to confirm the change.


Completing the FACTS Agreement

  1. Complete an out-of-pocket worksheet.  If you have been awarded financial aid, make sure this has been accounted for by either you or the University of Sioux Falls.
     
  2. Complete an online enrollment form by clicking on the e-Cashier logo and following the instructions.

    To complete the online application process, you will need your bank or institution name, phone number, account number and bank routing number.  Most of this information is either located on your check or credit card statement.
     
  3. You will choose one of two payment options:  Automatic Bank Payment or Credit Card.

    • Automatic Bank Payment (ACH) – ACH payment are those payments you authorize FACTS to process directly with your financial institution.  It is simply a bank-to-bank transfer of funds that you have pre-approved for your educational expenses at the University of Sioux Falls.  Payments may be made from either your checking or savings account.  Payments are processed on the 20th of each month and will continue until the balance is paid in full.
    • Credit Card – This option enables you to charge your tuition expenses at the University of Sioux Falls to your credit card on a monthly basis allowing you to take advantage of the various bonus programs offered by your credit card company.  Your monthly payment will be automatically charged to the credit card you designate.  Payments will be charged on the 20th of each month until the balance is paid in full.
  • Payment terms will be completed by the University of Sioux Falls.  This will be the total amount you wish to budget and the number of payments.  The amount of each payment is determined by dividing the total balance due by the number of payments.
     

Frequently Asked Questions

Q:  If payments are made automatically from my bank account, does that mean FACTS or the school has direct access to my account?

A:
 Once your agreement is posted to the FACTS System, you will receive an email notification of your payment amount and when the payment begins.  Payments will be processed until the total balance is paid in full.  The notification has important information you will need in order to log on to your My FACTS Account.  This notification also serves as a reminder that a $25 non-refundable enrollment fee per semester or $45 annual non-refundable enrollment fee per year will be processed from the account indicated on the agreement form within two weeks of the date of the email.


Q:  When will payments begin?

A:
 After your agreement is received by FACTS, we will send you an email confirming the monthly payment amount and when the payment begins.  Payments will be processed on the same date each month until the total balance is paid in full.  The email will also serve as a reminder that a $25 non-refundable enrollment fee will be processed from the account indicated on the agreement form within two weeks of the date that the letter was mailed. 

Q:  What if I miss a payment?

A:
 If you miss a payment, you will receive instructions on how the missed payment will be handled.  A $30 missed payment fee will be assessed for each missed payment attempt.  This fee is charged by FACTS to offset the fees assessed by the bank when your payment is missed.


Q:  Can I pay by phone with FACTS?

A:  In accordance with the Terms & Conditions of your FACTS agreement, payments are processed electronically.  FACTS does not accept payments by phone.

Q:  What is the FACTS Access Code?

A:  To help protect your privacy, FACTS asks the person responsible for the payments to create an access code.  If you should call into FACTS inquiring about your FACTS agreement or inquire online through My FACTS Account, you will be required to verify your FACTS Access Code.  If you do not create an access code on your FACTS agreement, one will be randomly assigned to you.  Your FACTS Access Code will be identified on your FACTS Confirmation Notification.  Please remember to keep a copy of your confirmation notification. 

Q:  Can I make changes to my budget plan?

A:
