Admissions Requirements for High School Students (applying fall 2011):

Faces
Understanding that excellent performance in high school coursework is both an indicator of preparedness and a predictor of success in college level studies, the University of Sioux Falls  expects students to complete a college preparatory high school core curriculum: English (4 units), Math (3 units of Algebra I or above), Lab Science (3 units), and Social Studies (2 units).  A Foreign Language (2 units) is also recommended. USF also expects applicants to have achieved a minimum 2.8 high school GPA on a 4.0 scale, accompanied by a composite ACT score of at least 20.  Students who do not meet both of these criteria may still be considered for admission.  Academic records will be evaluated on the basis of the strength of college preparatory coursework, high school GPA, ACT score, and probability of success at the college level.

Admissions Requirements for Transfer Students (applying fall 2011):

Transfer applicants seeking full admission should have a 2.5 cumulative GPA in college level coursework.  Applicants who do not meet this standard will be evaluated on an individual basis.

What if I don't meet the Admissions Requirements?

The University of Sioux Falls encourages all interested students to apply for admission. In some cases, students who do not meet the Admissions Requirements outlined above may be granted a conditional acceptance, with the opportunity to receive a full acceptance after the successful completion of one semester.

What if I previously attended USF?

Any student who has withdrawn or been academically suspended must complete the Student Reactivate Application and provide official transcripts from all post-secondary instutions attended since leaving USF.
