Students spend 30 hours per week in their practicum during one of the final semesters of the senior year. Integration and application into the practicum agency experiences of concepts learned from previous practice courses is the major emphasis of this experience.  Students meet regularly in a seminar to learn from other students' experiences and meet with the practicum coordinator from the Program to develop their understanding of their experiences. Self-evaluation skills are stressed through mid-term and end-of-the-semester evaluation by the student. Agency staff also evaluate twice per semester. While demanding, students report that these courses help them to "put it all together."
