Software Information

USF offers Microsoft Office Professional Plus free to all students enrolled in one of our online programs. It is available for either the MacOS or Windows operating system.

We recommend using Anti-Virus Software. However, it is not required. If you would like a FREE Anti-Virus Program, see links below:


Online Services:

eLearning

USF utilizes a Learning Management System (LMS). eLearning is a collaborative learning platform that offers coursework, grade book, forums, and online exams. You can easily access eLearning online 24/7, and with the new mobile site can connect via smart phones and other mobile devices, too.

WebEx

Cisco WebEx is used for video conferencing and live virtual classrooms. WebEx combines file and presentation sharing with voice, HD video and Meeting Spaces delivered through the Cisco WebEx Cloud.

Web Presentation Software

The University of Sioux Falls uses SoftChalk for its content authoring software. SoftChalk allows educators to create professional, engaging, learning content quickly and easily, enhancing and improving the learning experience of our students.

Portal

MyUSF is a personalized, one-stop access to academic and administrative data anytime, anywhere. MyUSF gives you access to Student Services, Academic information, Financial Aid and all the services available on our campus.

E-Mail

All students receive a Microsoft Exchange Email account for campus communication.

Writing Center

Writing assistance is available through our Academic Success Center. Find help with your writing needs from papers to forum responses.

Online Library

USF library offers numerous databases and resources for your assistance.
