His Life Today:

Upon graduation, David Campbell began to serve as the Pastor of Student Ministries at Oak Hills Baptist Church in Sioux Falls while he worked toward his Master of Divinity degree from Sioux Falls Seminary, which he completed in 2011. Each spring, he returns to USF to teach a ministry course. He and his wife, Mikaela, have one child.

What It Means To Be a Servant

Dan Boyle, Burgess Hall Resident Director, was a role model and had a powerful impact on Campbell. "When I was a student, he really equipped me for ministry and helped me understand what it meant to be a servant and to live with integrity and humility."

Part of a Legacy

Campbell says he recognizes he is a part of a group of young people who have come to be challenged, equipped and empowered to be who God has called them to be. "USF has influenced and shaped the lives of so many around the world, and I hope that legacy continues in the years ahead."

Why the USF Network Matters

Campbell says USF can be a network not just to further your career, but to enrich your life. "Friends, professors and employees of the University all played a role in where I stand today, and I'm super grateful for that," he says. "Residence hall janitorial staffs, admissions employees and cafeteria workers have all been used by God in these places in a powerful way. In some ways, they are the ones who teach us how to serve."
