Information for Accepted Students

Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Sioux Falls!

You've completed an application and received your USF acceptance letter. Now it's time to complete these five steps to reserve your spot in the USF Class of 2022.

Now what?

1

Pay $100 Tuition Deposit

This tuition deposit allows you to register for classes at USF and applies to your first semester's tuition. Your deposit is fully refundable until May 1, and you may submit your deposit online, through mail or by calling USF Admissions at 800-888-1047.

2

Attend Accepted Student Day

Each year, USF hosts two campus visit days for Accepted Students. If one of these days won't work for you, that's okay. Schedule Your USF Campus Visit for a day and time that will accommodate your busy schedule.

3

Apply for Financial Aid

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) allows you to be considered for aid from Federal Financial Aid Programs. It is highly recommended that you submit the FAFSA, even if you think your family may not qualify.

Complete your FAFSA as soon as possible after October 1, and include USF school code (003469). USF has a priority filing date of January 1 for the FAFSA. The USF Financial Aid Office begins sending out Official Award Notifications after January 1. After this point, students receive rolling notifications.

4

Campus Housing

University of Sioux Falls residence life emphasizes the intrinsic value of each person and endeavors to create opportunities for students to find value in the diverse gifts and talents of each member of the USF community.

Submit your housing application and $100 deposit by May 1. Room assignment notifications begin in July for the fall semester.

5

Attend New Student Registration Day

NSR - that's what we call it - is the day you meet individually with a professor for academic advising, register for classes and become an enrolled student at the University of Sioux Falls.
