University of Sioux Falls today announced that USF Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Josh Snyder is resigning effective August 31.
University President Brett Bradfield recognized him for his leadership in navigating the challenges of maintaining high quality athletic programs in the midst of many changes in the higher education landscape.
“Without question, Josh has been a critical part of our leadership team in his oversight of our athletic programs serving approximately 400 student-athletes,” President Bradfield said. “The USF community wishes Josh and his family the very best as he embarks upon his new employment opportunity in Sioux Falls, and we’re pleased he will remain in touch as a valued friend of the University.”
Pam Gohl, USF’s senior associate athletics director for compliance and senior women’s administrator, who has been with USF since 2012, will serve as interim athletic director.
University leadership will be developing the search process for Snyder’s replacement in the coming weeks.
