Title IX is a federal law passed in 1972 seeking to achieve gender equity in education. This is the full text of the law: "No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance[.]"

USF's Title IX coordinator is Julie Gednalske. She can be contacted by phone at 605-331-6683 and by email at Julie.Gednalske@usiouxfalls.edu. Her office is located in Jorden Hall, room 205.

If you feel that you are the victim of sex discrimination, please contact Ms. Gednalske.
