Overage Refunds

Overage refunds can be comprised from federal and private loans, scholarships, grants, employer reimbursement and personal payments.

The approximate dates for when fall and spring overage checks will be ready are October 1 and March 1, respectively. This is at least one month after the beginning of each semester – please plan accordingly.

This process cannot be rushed, and USF cannot process individual refunds before these dates due to a student requesting the funds early.

After the initial refund processing, additional processing will occur on a weekly basis.
