Each year Career Services staff surveys USF's graduating class to assess students' post-graduation activities. View the Undergraduate Class of 2023 Graduate Outcome Report that includes the following highlights:
- 100% placement rates for the Class of 2023 in over three-fourths of USF’s majors.
- 99% of 2023 grads were either employed or attending graduate or professional school within 6 months of graduation.
- 22% of 2023 grads enrolled in graduate or professional schools.
- 83% of 2023 grads started their careers in South Dakota.
- 93% of 2023 grads that found employment in South Dakota lived in Sioux Falls or within a 30 mile radius.
- 100 graduate programs nationwide enrolled USF graduates in the past four years.
- Results were equally as impressive for USF graduate degree programs, M.Ed., MBA and Ed.S. The same study found 100% of graduates were either employed or attending further schooling within 6 months of graduation, and a 95% response rate to the survey was achieved.

Get That Job, Even When No One is Hiring
Sarah (DeVries) Kurtenbach'09, Founder of the KB Group and moveHer.co offers helpful advice and resources when searching for employment. Sarah graduated from USF during the recession and the job she lined up emailed her the weekend before she was supposed to start to say they could no longer hire her. She was in a new city with no job, no money, no connections and applying for the same jobs as people with 25+ years of experience. This workshop is focused on her 6-Step Plan to Get That Job.
