Computer Information Systems Major In addition to meeting the liberal arts core requirements of the university, Computer Information Systems majors must complete the courses listed below, as well as participate in program assessment activities. For graduation, you must have a minimum of 2.25 GPA in all Natural Sciences courses counting toward the major.

  • - Operations Management (3 s.h.) or
    • - Organizational Theory & Behavior (3 s.h.)
  • - Principles of Microeconomics (3 s.h.)
  • - Finite Math (3 s.h.) or
    • - Calculus for Applications (3 s.h.) or
    • - Calculus I (4 s.h.)
  • - Statistics (3 s.h.)
  • - Logic and Discrete Mathematics (3 s.h.) or
    • - Logic and Discrete Mathematics (3 s.h.)

COLLOQUIUM

Complete four semesters of colloquium during the junior and senior years; one presentation is required each year. A two-semester sequence of MAT/COM 481/482 may replace two semesters of NSC300 and count for one required presentation.
