Synopsis: ENG 490: In this writing-focused travel course, our travel to London (and, more briefly, Paris) will provide the content and context of our own travel writing essays, inviting us both to overcome cultural distance and to arrive at a greater understanding of individual identity and experience. 
HIS 392: This course offers students an opportunity to explore England and France, two highly influential European cultures that also deeply influence American national identity. The course will engage students in critical thinking about historical themes of worldwide significance while immersing them in other cultures to promote intercultural awareness.

Kenya

Synopsis: Travel with the Vucurevich School of Business to Africa and explore business practices in the country of Kenya.  Through this international travel course, we will witness how cultural awareness drives innovation, helps build stronger relationships and enhances workplace productivity.  Participants will gain a deeper understanding of Kenyan business practices by touring and interviewing those in:  coffee farms, dairy operations, cheese factories, sewing / washer & dryer businesses, a green house, open-air Kenyan markets, and a tea factory.

Find time for lunch and shopping in trendy Soho or Covent Garden before hopping the Eurostar to romantic Paris. View spectacular sights—from the Arc de Triomphe to the Eiffel Tower—before touring the prestigious Louvre. Make your last stop in Berlin where, after the Wall came down in 1990, West finally met East. Find out the historic significance of Checkpoint Charlie and the Brandenburg Gate.
