Accounting (A.A.)
The Associate of Arts in Accounting provides the foundation of an accounting career with core courses in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting and Individual Taxation. In addition, courses in Computerized Accounting and Excel will assist with the technology required for an accounting career. Students are also provided course options to enhance knowledge in other accounting and business fields. This degree serves as a base for further study in a four-year program or prepares graduates to more quickly enter the workforce.
Student Learning Outcomes:
- Students will be able to apply major concepts in the functional areas of accounting including financial, managerial and tax.
- Students will be able to apply decision-support tools to business and accounting decision-making.
