Nathan Nassif, Ph.D.

Dr. Nathan Nassif's academic and business background gives a history of two parallel and satisfying careers. For more than 20years, he enjoyed a period of varied and progressively responsible accomplishments in the fields of teaching, academic department administration, training, negotiation and both central and hands-on management of substantial resort and commercial properties.

After completing his Master of Arts degree, he was employed in New York City as a talent agent  for the William Morris Agency, at that time the world's largest talent management firm. While in New York, he gained considerable experience in artist representation, commercial broadcasting, theatre and motion pictures.

Later he gained extensive entrepreneurial skills with a business career as executive director and partner of the St. Elmo Hotel corporation and SJN and Sons Management company in Pittsburgh, Pa., Orlando, Fla., and  Chautauqua, N.Y. 

Dr. Nassif continues to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in business and communication arts; he also teaches graduate courses in the M.B.A. and M.B.A./Healthcare programs and the education department. Moreover, he designs and conducts workshops and seminars for business and the professions along with public speaking, consulting and training.

He met his wife, Briana, while working in the film industry in Los Angeles. They have two children and two grandchildren. He enjoys reading and sports and conducting research in his academic areas. As a magician, he has performed for many years as a volunteer at area hospitals, charity and fund-raising events.

Dr. Nassif's research includes:

Curriculum development for undergraduate and graduate courses, enhancement and design for courses with critical thinking designations and Degree Completion Program.

He has designed, developed and presented business and professional workshops and seminars for various organizations and the professions.
