American Baptist Scholarships | Available for members of an American Baptist Church. |
Air Force ROTC | $18,00 a year for tuition and fees. ACT composite score of 26 or 1240 SAT score required. Available for qualified USF students in the Air Force ROTC program offered on the campus of South Dakota State University. |
American Indian Foundation | Eligible applicants must be Native American, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian. |
Business and Professional Women Scholarship | Multiple $500 scholarships are awarded to women pursuing post-secondary education. Traditional and non-traditional students are encouraged to apply. |
Citi Youth Leadership Award | Each year the Citi Youth Leadership award recognizes young people for their outstanding community service. Individuals must complete a minimum of 100 hours of service to be considered. Three seniors from Sioux Empire high schools will each receive a $1,000 scholarship award. |
Daughters of the American Revolution (D.A.R) Scholarship | The Mary Chilton Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution offers two one-time scholarships of $4,000 to returning full time USF students from South Dakota. Applications must be submitted to the USF Financial Aid Office. |
First Bank & Trust | The First Bank & Trust scholarship is for juniors or seniors in college who will be entering the workforce soon, geared towards those students looking for jobs in the financial services industry. The recipient must be a First Bank & Trust checking and/or savings account holder. One $2,000 award will be granted by FBT. |
Hatterscheidt Foundation | Available to 2022 graduates from a South Dakota high school planning to enroll full time at USF. Students must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0. Applications must be submitted to the USF Financial Aid Office by March 4, 2022. |
Hispanic Scholarship Fund | Available for students with a Hispanic background. |
Plains Commerce Bank | Plains Commerce Bank is offering a $4,000 scholarship to a junior or senior who is a South Dakota Resident with an expressed interest in banking/financial services. |
POET Scholarship | POET is offering ten $5,000 scholarships to students enrolled in a two or four post-secondary school, regardless of major or GPA. Recipients will also have an opportunity to visit the POET Sioux Falls location during the school year. |
Premier Business Scholarship | Multiple $2000 scholarships are offered by First Premier Bank and Premier Bankcard to selected students who are able to maintain employment with First Premier or First Premier Bankcard while attending USF. USF will match up to $1000 of the scholarship to undergraduate students |
Sanford Health Volunteer Program | Multiple $1,000 and $2,000 scholarships available for student volunteers at Sanford Health. Fall, spring, and summer programs available throughout the year. See link for specific deadlines. |
SDTA Scholarship | The South Dakota Telecommunications Association (SDTA) is offering two SDTA Memorial Scholarships of $2,000 and $1,500 for the 2018 fall semester. Preference will be given to students with majors within the communications and broadband industry (such as computers, technologies, accounting or business fields). |
Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation | Variety of scholarships for students from Sioux Falls and from across the state of South Dakota. |
South Dakota Bankers Foundation | Multiple scholarships available for juniors with an interest in a career in banking, finance or business. |
South Dakota Nurses Foundation Scholarship | South Dakota Nurses Foundation awards three or more scholarships a year to eligible students. |
South Dakota Retailers Scholarship | Multiple scholarships available to students who intend to enroll in a retail or business related course of study at a South Dakota university or vocational school. |
Veterans Benefits | USF is considered a military-friendly campus and is proud to assist veterans in their pursuit of postsecondary education. Veterans and their families can utilize the traditional GI Bill® as well as the Post 911 GI Bill and Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment benefits for education at the University of Sioux Falls. Students should contact the USF Registrar’s Office to begin the process. |
Walter N. Graham Nursing Scholarship | Applicants must be enrolled in a South Dakota accredited four-year nursing program, must have previously earned 23-semester credits and maintained a 2.5 or better-accumulated GPA. Applicants must be a South Dakota resident. Financial need may be considered. |
Yankton College Scholarship | Scholarships available to degree seeking students with a connection to alumni, former faculty member, staff or any other person with ties to Yankton College. |
Yankton Medical Clinic Scholarship | $1000 scholarship available to a student enrolled in laboratory, radiology, respiratory therapy, or nursing program. Preference to those with the intention to work within a 50 miles radius of Yankton, SD. |
