Paying for College
Billing and payment processing at USF happens through the Student Accounts Office. The Financial Aid Office works hard to provide information, counseling and financial services to help students and their families navigate the financial aid process.
Payment is due by the first day of classes each semester. Payment options at USF are listed below:
USF Student Accounts Office
You can pay your entire balance due, less incoming scholarships and loan proceeds, with cash, check, debit or credit card in person or over the phone at (605) 331-6588.
- Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are accepted with a 2.7% service fee. Please be aware that credit/debit cards may have a daily limit.
- We can accept eCheck’s directly from your checking or savings account at no fee. You would need to know your bank routing number and your account number.
- A $35 Returned Payment Fee will be applied to accounts with returned checks for non-sufficient funds.
Pay Online at MyUSF
All of your current account information is available on the Student Accounts tab. You can make a payment with your debit/credit card, with a 2.7% fee, or an eCheck without a fee. You will be asked to login with your USF network login.
Enroll in the monthly payment plan (Nelnet FACTS)
Set up a Nelnet FACTS payment plan to pay your bill in equal installments over the course of the academic year.
Consult with the Financial Aid Office
Before the semester starts, contact the Financial Aid Office about a plan to cover your out-of-pocket cost to attend USF.
***Scholarships and loan proceeds must be structured to arrive before September 30 and February 28, for the fall and spring semesters, respectively.***
