Getting started is as easy as 1-2-3!
Download the App
Start by downloading the free Navigate App from the App Store or Google Play by searching for “Navigate Student”. Installation requirements: iOS Devices: Requires iOS 9.0 or later; compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Android Devices: Requires Android 4.1 and up. Don’t have a phone? Don't worry. Assess the desktop version at http://usiouxfalls.guide.eab.com.
Sign in
Once you've downloaded the app, you'll select "University of Sioux Falls", then you'll be prompted for your username/password. Use the same USF single-sign-on that you use for all your other university accounts, which is issued on your registration day.
Take the Initial Survey
Once you’re logged in, you’ll be prompted to take a short survey, so Navigate can provide the right content for you at the right time in your journey at USF. Once you’re finished with the survey, dig in! Your Path shows content by date, your Journey shows content by theme. Click on an item to see the Step, which details how you can complete the task or activity.
FAQs
Q: Is there a cost?
A: No, it costs nothing for you to download Navigate or use the app or desktop version. However, that doesn’t mean your friends at other schools can download it too—we specially partnered with Navigate to customize your USF experience.
Q: Is Navigate available to all USF students?
A: Navigate is available to all traditional undergraduate students.
Q: What other USF apps are available?
A: There is also a "University of Sioux Falls" app available, which offers community discussion boards, a lost and found, book buying/selling, and more. Search for "University of Sioux Falls" where you download your apps.
Q: Why can’t I get logged into Navigate?
A: Can you log in to MyUSF and your USF email? If no, there may be a problem with your USF single-sign-on. Contact ITHelpDesk@usiouxfalls.edu. If yes, you can log in to MyUSF or your USF email, but Navigate says “uh-oh” or “something went wrong”, there may have been a problem adding your credentials to the Navigate system. Contact navigatehelp@usiouxfalls.edu with your full name, username, and email address.
