Amy Johnson
Coordinator of Campus Health/Academic Advisor/Instructor of Exercise Science
Dr. Amy Johnson holds a Ph.D. in Exercise Science from the University of Iowa (2003), where her dissertation focused on the hemodynamic consequences of rapid changes in gravity, specifically the Push-Pull Effect. With a diverse academic background and extensive teaching experience, she has served in various faculty roles at institutions across the Midwest including the University of Sioux Falls, the University of North Dakota, Mayville State University, Culver-Stockton College, and St. Ambrose University. In addition to her teaching and coordination roles, Dr. Johnson led the University of Sioux Falls' COVID Response Team from 2021 to 2023. Dr. Johnson is currently the Coordinator of Campus Health and an Instructor in the Exercise Science Department at the University of Sioux Falls, where she began teaching as an adjunct faculty member in 2008.
