SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota—The University of Sioux Falls will confer 420 total degrees on Sunday, May 21, at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. The graduate ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. and undergraduate ceremony at 2:30 p.m. 
Total degrees to be conferred include 310 undergraduate students and 110 graduate students.

Sunday, May 21 Commencement details:

Graduate Commencement: Ceremony at 10 a.m., doors open at 9 a.m. for seating. No ticket required.

Undergraduate Commencement: Ceremony at 2:30 p.m., doors open at 1:30 p.m. for seating.
Tickets will be required for all guests.

Ceremonies will take place at the Sioux Falls Convention Center, 1201 West Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD 57104.

A 2023 graduate has been chosen to serve as commencement speaker at each of this year’s commencement ceremonies. Speakers will include Breanne Lynch, Ed.S. in Educational Administration/Principal, and Nayeli Salcido-Velazquez, B.A. in Sociology and Criminal Justice, for respective ceremonies.

Nursing Pinning Ceremony: 5 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2023, Meredith Auditorium
This ceremony honors all accelerated and traditional nursing students.

Education Commissioning Ceremony: 11 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023, Zbornik Hall, Salsbury Science Center
This ceremony celebrates the accomplishments of education students.

A recent survey showed that 99% of USF graduates from the undergraduate Class of 2022 secured employment or pursued graduate or professional studies within six months of graduation. That same survey found that 74% of 2022 grads started their careers in South Dakota, and of those, 94% are employed in Sioux Falls or within a 30 mile radius. Overall, USF graduates reported working in 20 states.
